I was still awake at that

I was still awake at that point I think, I didn't feel it. Mind you my whole street shakes when someone closes a door, I don't think I would notice anyway.

i was up watching tv when it happened and i did feel it.

my whole flat was shaking for a good 5-7 seconds, it felt like a huge truck was going past, eveything was rocking.

the epicenter was in the town of Market Rasen which is around 40-50 miles north from me.

I'm in Birmingham, and I was

I'm in Birmingham, and I was awake watching TV shows on my laptop in bed.  I had to pause the playback and take the earphones out, I wasn't sure if a really big truck had just gone past or something.

I finished watching the show, then did a google search for earthquakes, but nothing had been written up yet.  It was confirmed the next day at work for me.

It was just a nice gentle rocking motion for me, probably would have helped send me to sleep had I been trying Smiling

I do feel kinda sorry for the young lad who broke his pelvis though I must say. I have felt a few quakes before, they're mostly just harmless fun in the UK.

In light of the recent

In light of the recent report that the majority of British aren't religious this is clearly god's punishment. The end is nigh!

Even God is limited in dealing out his wrath by the fact that he forgot to put any tectonic plates in the UK. So much for intelligent design.

That's because it wasn't a wrathful action.
My Dad is a Catholic and it was his Birthday on 27th of Feb.
The excitement was a birthday present for him.
My younger brother got snow today on his (although I think he preferred the bottle of Absinth that I gave him though! Eye-wink)
It's a shame that I don't believe - something really cool would be happening this May...
