Hello everyone!

I am Ms. Heather.  I'm 20, and I live in Milwaukee, WI.

I have been an Atheist since I was about 12 or 13 years old.  My parents used to make me go to Sunday School every week, even though I hated it.  I used to question my teachers a lot, because it seemed as if there were so many holes in all the stories we were told.  Finally, one day my teacher told me if I kept questioning my faith, I would burn in Hell.  After that, I stopped going, and completely lost faith in any of the shit I was told!  I was confused because I thought I was a good kid, I never did anything really wrong, so why would I burn in Hell, just for asking questions?  After all, I was just curious. 

Now I embrace the curiosity, and I wish others would too!  I don't understand how people can believe in something so blindly!  I like to see FACTS!  I try to be respectful of other people's beliefs, and for the most part I am.  If they ask me my views, I will tell them, because I am not ashamed to call myself an Atheist, even though I know other Atheists who prefer not to tell anyone.  That brings me to RRS.  I love th fact that RRS is getting involved in the community, and showing people that Atheists are not these horrible, cold, people, but are just like everyone else!  (Maybe just a little smarter )
