Ontarians Take Interest! ...

There is a meeting being held by a parliamentary council to decide the fate of the Christian prayer that traditionally opens every business day in the Legislature of Ontario.

Add your voice to the council's deliberations so that we can take this superstitious nonsense out of our public offices!

This tradition should be abandoned. It prefers a religion where no one religion and no God should be represented. It is an insult to the very values of our democracy and to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms upheld by this nation and this province. When it is not possible to represent all religious and non-religious practices equally in the Legislature, no practice must be observed.

I saw this awhile ago when

I saw this awhile ago when McGuinty first brought it up and the other parties didn't seem to oppose it in the slightest.  Has that changed?
