I found this site a few weeks ago, and must say it's really informative. I joined today and thought I would introduce myself.
I'm from England, and was raised as a Jehovah's Wittness. I hated being in that religion, and always knew it was wrong. However, it wasn't until I was 16 that I could break away from it. I always say it's the best thing I ever did. In a way I was fortunate. My parents didn't disown me, and accepted my decision. However, I know of others who have been disowned by their parents for rejecting the religion/cult. I found your 'interviews with a Jehovah's Wittness' very interesting.
I also found this blog by accident, and wondered if any of you had seen it? I find it extremely distasteful. The man is a bigot IMO

I was fortunate that my parents let me decide. after visiting a Sunday School, various quasi-religious meetings and reading about religions from various sources I decided that I'd politely decline.

Hi there, and welcome. It is good to "see" new people here. Please feel free to add new stories for me to read. I love to read these new posts and sometimes I feel intelligent enough to add a comment line or two. I am definitely not as intelligent as most here so my replies are few and far between, or at least they should be.
