Hi

Hi,

I found this site a few weeks ago, and must say it's really informative. I joined today and thought I would introduce myself.

I'm from England, and was raised as a Jehovah's Wittness. I hated being in that religion, and always knew it was wrong. However, it wasn't until I was 16 that I could break away from it. I always say it's the best thing I ever did.  In a way I was fortunate. My parents didn't disown me, and accepted my decision. However, I know of others who have been disowned by their parents for rejecting the religion/cult. I found your 'interviews with a Jehovah's Wittness' very interesting.

I also found this blog by accident, and wondered if any of you had seen it? I find it extremely distasteful. The man is a bigot IMO

Anyway, great site, keep up the good work.

Sarah

Regarding that blog site, I had to laugh about the warning against swearing and those that respond  "that fail to give the name “God” or “Jesus” capitals"  Hahahah

Have fun !

Welcome Sarah

You'll have plenty of fun and support on this forum.

I was fortunate that my parents let me decide. after visiting a Sunday School, various quasi-religious meetings and reading about religions from various sources I decided that I'd politely decline.

Good to have you on here,

Tim

Welcome

Hi there, and welcome.  It is good to "see" new people here.  Please feel free to add new stories for me to read.  I love to read these new posts and sometimes I feel intelligent enough to add a comment line or two.  I am definitely not as intelligent as most here so my replies are few and far between, or at least they should be.

Add another cabin?  *throws hands in the air*  Well crap!  I'm going to have to redesign the duel booster configuration to do that!
