Introduction

Hello, folks. Just joined up.

I'd discuss my atheism, but it's probably nothing you haven't heard before, and better, so I'll skip it.

Argument from Sadism: Theist presents argument in a wall of text with no punctuation and wrong spelling. Atheist cannot read and is forced to concede.

"The Brain From Planet Arous" is my favorite so-bad-it's-good B-Movie from the 1950s.

As for my boring story... I was raised Roman Catholic and got as far as Confirmation. I became a Protestant at about 15 (years, not mph) then slid into my present atheism.

I go along with the atheist/agnostic distinction proffered by Matt Dillahunty over at the ACA / Atheist Experience.

I am an "atheist" in that my answer to the point-blank question of Do you believe in God? is "No."

I am an "agnostic" in that I do not know how (of if) supernatural or mystical claims can be evaluated.

I am also covered in mayonnaise*.

* An outright lie, yet more likely than most theist claims.

Hey

Welcome, hola, hello eh? and Hallo. well I must admit I haven't seen The Brain from Planet Arous, however a favorite B-movie (should really be C but still) is Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter, great Canadian movie filmed in Ottawa, with Kung Fu, because we all know religion, vampires and kung fu, can only make the movie that much better (seriously it's funny as hell).

Isn't that the one you can catch a glimpse of in the opening sequence of Malcolm in the middle ?

Hi, btw.

Far more likely, since all you'd need is maybe 15 minutes a decent-sized jar of mayonnaise in order to be verifiably covered in mayonnaise.

Nobody I know was brainwashed into being an atheist.

Oh shit...  Is mustard close enough?

The wife is already asking me if I'm crazy and slamming doors.

Does she know there is photographic evidence of a vampire baby draining you of blood to the point of unconsciousness?

I couldn't remember what thread you posted this in - I wanted to respond because as soon as I read your post on that movie I HAD to download it. Might watch tonight. Anyway, I would say almost all the non-believers on here are "agnostic atheists."

*** Edit: I watched it. It was very funny - not just the subject matter, but because it was one of those extremely low budget movies that is so bad it's funny.
