I think it quite desperate - an attempt to corral and proselytize teens under the guise of giving a gun away! Devious sinner!!!!!Miracles don't exist. "Miracle" is a word given to a preposterous event that a theist considers dogmatically advantageous. Def. - Ecclesiastical sensationalism.

I hope the pastor planned to put that gun on a strong chain, otherwise it would disappear as soon as a crowd would get their hands on it.
What the hell does a gun have in common with spirituality? That's an inner crisis of the Church, soon there will be nothing to worry about. What will be next, a fun-fair, and a pastor preaching there through loudspeakers to people trying to have some fun despite of that?
Beings who deserve worship don't demand it. Beings who demand worship don't deserve it.
