Question Idea
Im having the opportunity to ask a few questions to a speaker at a church rally. I was wondering what you all think the best question I could ask them would be? Thanks.

Ask them to explain the first commandment "Thou shalt have no god before me." What other gods is your god worried about? WARNING: don't let them get away with explaining the second commandment instead. It's a common copout. The 2nd covers false gods and false prophets, the 1st covers (to the writer) real gods including his.
The 2nd also claims god is jelious; in direct violation of his own Tenth commandment, "Thou shalt not covet....".
"Very funny Scotty; now beam down our clothes."

If man was formed from dirt, why is there still dirt?
if i were you i'd ask how the bible is true if jesus wasn't real. lol.
If Eve had told the talking snake to go fuck himself (proverbially of course), would humanity even exist today?
Adam and Eve would still be immortal, so therefore would they not need to have kids?
Or, would Cain and Abel still have been born, only this time Cain would not have murdered Abel?
If that is the case, then would we right now be in the Garden of Eden crowded with billions of never dying people?
Remember how you figured out there is no Santa? Well, their god is just like Santa. They just haven’t figured out he’s not real yet.
What ain't GOD ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I've asked that before. The standard answer is even if Adam and Eve hadn't sinned, someone alone the line would have, because that's human nature. Nice to know they have so much confidence in humamnm nature, and that god made us so that it's impossible not to sin.
To the OP, you're going to want to ask questions from the NT, so they can't say 'it doesn't apply anymore.'

Argument from Sadism: Theist presents argument in a wall of text with no punctuation and wrong spelling. Atheist cannot read and is forced to concede.
How about: Seeing as Moses brought the 10 commandments to the people, why did he order the deaths of so many? He was a genocidal leader like Hitler.

Jesus said, "Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division." - Luke 12:51
Ask them "Why do you believe such absurd claims about the Earth and Humanity, and what's up with going to a church that hides their pedophilia priest ,and just ask them nicely to "Grow up and deal with the realities in Life" like us non-delusional "Thinkers"
Signature ? How ?
Ask them why.
Ask them why they need more time, why they *want* more time than just this life.
If God made this world, and made it so perfectly suited for humanity, and God gave us life and the Will to find purpose within it, why isn't that enough? Why must there be some existence beyond death? Isn't it ungrateful and rude to tell God, 'thank you for this world, thank you for this life, but I want more time, and I want it in a better place than what you made for us'?
If God has given them all that they have, and they trust God, why do they want more?

Yeah, Loc, I agree they'll try to say anything and everything in order to ignore their own OT. However, we atheists should always have their own "good words" ready to throw back at them.
elmo... if you do want to ask a question from the OT, stand ready with Matthew 5:17, which follows:
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place." ( this is taken from NAB)
In the KJV or Wycliffe it is @ verses 17 and 18.
They'll try and wiggle out of this as well but the intent is clear. Jesus was saying the OT laws are still in effect and always will be.
oh, that would be fun. (sarcasm) one line of people with original sin and another without. like we don't already have enough problems with racism. wtf?

I fix this messy translation by inserting "law of gawed , nature , physics", not the dogma of men ..... "fix my words" said a buddha. "Use your wisdom common sense mind" .....
