I found my way in the FTT forum and made a few posts until...

... I realized i was responding to someones introduction that was made more than a year ago.

I look around and see that the board was quite active for awhile. but it is most certainly dead now.

So a horrible thought comes to mind about the rest of the website... Is this super-awesome website in decline?

It seems like it is in decline to a new person (me) seeing a lot of topics without a post in quite awhile.

some nights it's really

some nights it's really active and other nights it's slow -  i wouldn't be surprised if most people were watching obama's speech at the moment.  also, if you see something in an old thread and you have something you want to add to it just go ahead and do it - even if the author of the op isn't around there are plenty of people here that can pick up.

After I had looked around

After I had looked around here a bit a few weeks ago I started clicking "Recent Posts" over on the left. When you do that it is sometimes difficult to keep up with all of the activity here.

Now that I think more I

Now that I think more I think he meant the "Freethinking Teens" site. I think most teens end up on this site and since the majority of us here are adults it defaults to here, hence that site not being active.

Matt Shizzle has been banned from the Rational Response Squad website. This event shall provide an atmosphere more conducive to social growth. - Majority of the mod team

that's an interesting thought Matt but I just took a glance over there and I don't see him as having made a few recent posts in there... maybe he's talking about FTA - where people only post there when they want to specifically restrict the conversation to Atheists.

At left, the 'RRS Authors'

At left, the 'RRS Authors' is wow, and you can click on anyones name including yours in any thread and "Track" them. You can hang with cool Shelley for days in print, or anyone. Way cool, RRS.

It is slower here in Califonia after around 9 pm. Hey, hello other side of the world .... can you hear me ? !!!

I was talking about the FTT

I was talking about the FTT site at first but i know that is practically dead.

It just hints at the community in general (this site) being in a decline.

Or maybe i misunderstand the connection between this forum and that forum.

But the post was about this site although it started off talking about FTT forum.

As you can see, our traffic

As you can see, our traffic is quite cyclical.  Over august, we have been on a relatively steady downturn, but this is common on many websites, since lots of people take vacations in July and August.   Note also, that even after a month of steady decline, our traffic is significantly higher than in most of March, April, and early May.

Percentage of Global Internet Users who visit this site:

3 Month Average .00251%

3 Month Change: 59%

Also, you can see that at 59% growth in the last three months, we're far from losing interest in the public eye.  At the very least, a lot more people are coming by to have a look.

Lastly, these figures are not representative of all of our users, only Firefox users.  So, anything you see number-wise in these graphs is smaller than the actual numbers.
