Save the trees help the Redskins!

My beloved Redskins have taken a time portal back to the 80s and are desperately trying to replicate the doormat of the NFL the "Saints" of the 1980s.

Three spankings in a row and one being the season opener against the NY Giants. I think Snyder(Skins owner) is not interested in  winning games, but buying stock in trees that make the soaring popularity of paper bags Skins fans are trampling down the doors to buy and put shamefully over their heads.

I love to be proven wrong, but I'd rather hedge my bets on the FSM being real than the Skins making it to the big dance.

Oh Brian

     Brian37  there are genuinly serious problems in the universe and your worried about the 'Skins and paper bags.   Go hug a tree.

     My beloved Patriots have lost the lord god Tom Brady for the season; now thats worth whinning about.

Quit your bitching, the Skins haven't gotten laid since 1992, when was the last time the Patriots went to the NFC Championchip or a Super Bowl? I don't want to hear it.

I think the Patriots losing

I think the Patriots losing the Superbowl and now this could possibly be considered as evidence for a benevolent god. Maybe early this year the Flying Spaghetti Monster finally defeated Cthulu (who helped the Patriots cheat and get all the calls in their favor - the Refrees in the NFL were infiltrated by a Cthulan cult. Now the Pastafarians are taking over there and that shit will stop. )

Ok... all of you need to

Ok... all of you need to just shut up.  I ask you... in all sincerity, does any one of you have anything that can top the woes of someone living within TV blackout distance of Atlanta?  I mean fuck all... Atlanta makes Detroit look like a well oiled football operations machine.   Try this little experiment... just think "Redskins" and see what comes to mind.  For me, yeah, I admit it... I think, "Joe Theismann, John Riggins, Art Monk.  Granted, that's a long time ago, but DAMN!  Those were some fine football playin' boys.

Patriots?  Pick a year from the last decade, and there are a half dozen crazy good players to choose from.  They've had a freaking dynasty.

Now, think of Atlanta... Michael Vick, right?  The biggest fuckup in the history of pro football.  That's our legacy.  Think before Vick and name any famous Atlanta quarterbacks that come to mind...

(Jeopardy Music...)

Byron Leftwich?  No...

Chris Chandler?  No....

Bobby Hebert?  No...

Jeff George?  No....

Scott Campbell?  No...

Chris Miller?  No...

You know who the only other famous players of any consequence are?  I'll tell you... Morten Anderson and Deion Sanders.  That's it.  (I guess if you want to go back to the 70s, Steve Bartkowski was ok.)

Here's your 1966-2007 totals for the Falcons:  262 Wins, 386 losses.  8 Trips to the playoffs.  One trip to the Superbowl.  (They lost.)

Yea, I really enjoyed walking home in the freezing cold 2 miles, in my cammies, after watching "Riggo's Rangers" and self centered Joe Theisman get their asses handed to them by the Raiders. That was fun. NOT!

No no no no, I admit, before

No no no no, I admit, before the ray of hope that crashed and burned called "Vick" Atlanta at best was mediocar.

BUT, the all time decade in NFL history for "sluts" of the NFL were the Saints of the 1980s. My worry is that my current Skins are trying to rival that mediocrety and patheticness.

Matt Ryan looked good on Sunday. And with the addition of Michael 'The Burner' Turner (220 yards rushing), I don't think things will be too bad in Atlanta this year. If Ryan can keep his rookie head on straight and Turner keeps running the ball like he did this weekend, there just might be some hope for Falcons fans.

Football = Gay. Call me

Football = Gay.

Call me when they're throwing people into an arena with swords, shields lions and unarmed Christians again.  Sticking out tongue

Quote:
"Natasha has just come up to the window from the courtyard and opened it wider so that the air may enter more freely into my room. I can see the bright green strip of grass beneath the wall, and the clear blue sky above the wall, and sunlight everywhere. Life is beautiful. Let the future generations cleanse it of all evil, oppression and violence, and enjoy it to the full."
