My fellow Americans...
A hearty E pluribus unum and Dum spiro spero to you all.
To our international friends...get ready for another century of economic and military domination. Don't bitch. You know you love it.

Oh, you clever bugger. You even got a plug in for your home state. I'm impressed, my friend. Impressed.

Now we just gotta hope Bush doesn't fuck things up beyond repair or try doing shit to keep Obama from taking the reins in the next month and a half. Hopefully if he'd try the latter the military would refuse to obey an unlawful order. Since McCain conceded and would have influence with the military I'm guessing he would refuse to go along with that sort of thing.

Actually, I was quoting our president-elect at the same time. He ended his speech with (I'm paraphrasing, here) "from many we are one, and while we breathe, we hope" followed by some God bullshit. E pluribus unum was enough for me, but the plug for South Carolina was especially endearing for a white boy like myself. I think I'm going to enjoy having this man for a president.

Hope is the battle cry of intellectual reasoning ... turn it up, sharpen thy swords of wisdom, and be no fools ... cleverly retread and survive to fight again, knowing the enemy in us all in better detail, as "love the enemy" a wise ancient suggested. To love is to understand hate, as a famous buddha suggested knowing the "middle", a place of no war.
