Have you ever had this happen to you?

Have you ever had a sexual dream about a co-worker, you though of more like a family member?

I'll expound on it later, gotta go for now, just asking.

What is this shit about

What is this shit about feeling like family?  If I have a dream like that, I just assume that means that that person is "on the list".

Freud traced sex dreams to a

Freud traced sex dreams to a sense of admiration for the individual not contingent upon erotic feelings for the subject. So you're okay. You just admire this person for another trait they possess. Try to detach yourself from the equation and see if you can spot exactly what it is that you find admirable in the individual's behavior and let them know by a passing compliment. The dreams go away and you can resume your normal wet ones.

Now, if you were falling or swimming while you had sex with them that is another story.

Disclaimer: I am not trained as a psychoanalyst, but I've read Freud while watching a girlfriend clean the house in the nude. And I've stayed at a Holiday Inn Express before.

Darth,

This indicates to me that you have the technical experience necessary to handle my issues more completely than the average orthodox Freudian.  I'm going to put you on retainer, just as soon as I have a respectable enough salary to begin wasting it on therapy.

This is hardly relevant to the subject, but I feel like telling my favorite Freud joke.  "Anna" is Anna Freud, daughter of Sigmund and one of his many disciples in the talking cure.

Anna:  Papa, I've just had sex for the first time!

Sigmund:  Oh, was it an enlightening experience for you?

Anna:  Absolutely, I now understand the difference between the penis and the phallus!

Sigmund:  Yes dear, what is that, do you think?

Anna:  The phallus is much larger than the penis!

(I always imagine this in a Vaudevillian context with curtains dropping at the punchline and the band going into zany musical sting.)

I do admire and love this

I do admire and love this person like a sister. But, she is not someone I would want to date. She is atractive but again, not my type. Not to mention she is married with kids.

It just creeped me out, but I know it is normal to have weird dreams, but still. I felt like I had kissed my sister. It was a yucky dream.

Conversely, I have another co-worker whom I thought, out of all my female co-workers, I thought I would have dreamed about her first, and not the one I actually did dream about.

I just feel yucky, no matter how normal people say it is.

I think the larger question

I think the larger question is if any of us have ever had sex dreams involving someone you shouldn't be having sex dreams about... i'm sure the answer is overwhelmingly 'yes.'

Don't worry about it.

I know what you mean about

I know what you mean about waking up in the morning and going WTF?

IMHO I think you're the only one who can really interpret what that scenario actually means.

I always find that my dreams tend to be the cheapest of metaphors. I have a good day and in the dream I'm flying high, or a get chewed out at work and I'm at a table eating shit...

Maybe something you did together evoked some sexual meaning? As in you put a cd in her drive or she handed you a banana? Ha!

Or maybe your affection just took a testosterone turn in free association extravaganza that is dreamland...

That said,  I think there are very few women that I'm friends with that I don't find something sexually attractive about and there are a lot of women that I wouldn't want to date that I would love to sleep with...

I'm going with Shelley.

I'm going with Shelley.  Don't worry.  Why don't you try to enjoy the dream(s)?  Or perhaps you could think of what other meaning the dreams could have.  Think about what kind of sex is in the dreams.  -Perhaps the dream is just an expression of how close you feel to the person; sex with someone you love is often as much about intimacy as it is about getting off... sometimes.

I love my co-workers, they

I love my co-workers, they all have a great sense of humor, and even the woman I dreamed about found it amusing.

Her husband dropped by work to visit her, and she tapped on my window and motioned with her finger to (come here) and opened the door and said, "There is someone here to see you"

So I lowered my head,(in the fetal position) and walked out the door slowly toward him and said in a meak sqeaky voice, "Please don't hurt me". He laughed.

Does this mean tonight's disturbing dream threesome will include some bondage?

THANKS DICKWAD!

Actually I am more concerned with the therapy she will need from telling her.

"All I wanted was a job, a means to survive, and then this toothless balding trailer park atheist tells me he had a dream about me. FIND A HAPPY PLACE...FIND A HAPPY PLACE"

I did offer to pay for her therapy.

Yah

Whenever I have a sex dream I take it as a sign that I should have sex with her.
