Reality of Jurassic Park
OK, not really but this is potentially big - mammoth DNA being sequenced and closer to modern elephant DNA . Would it be that hard then to insert the difference into a young elephant fetus in order to breed them? Imagine the zoo that introduces the first wooly mammoth to walk the Earth in 10,000 years! Or maybe a hunting preserve - I'm sure there's certain big game hunters that would want to go for mammoth. What about other prehistoric mammals? Obviously dinosaurs would be way harder (since many of the mammals are frozen and have close living relatives. ) Any ideas of the implication?
