Hi guys, it's been a while.

I know I've been away for a few months, and I hope some of you still remember me. I honestly don't have an excuse for my absence, I was essentially being pretty lazy and selfish. I could say I was dealing with important things involving my career and family - and at times I certainly was - but I still could have made time for RRS and I didn't. I understand I left a few people hanging mid conversation and never gave an explanation for the extended abscence, and for that, I sincerely apologize - I wasted your time in those cases, one of my own peeves, and there is no excuse for it.

I don't know what to say. Basically I got busy at work on a huge project that required me to drop of the face of the earth for about three weeks, and after that I found I enjoyed the break from this constant grinding it out with the other side, but a few weeks later I started missing the community, realized I had selfishly broken several commitments regarding debates and other discussions and put off coming back. And the longer I put it off, the more I felt like I SHOULDN'T come back.

But fuck it, in the end I can't stay away, regardless of time commitments, pride or shame. I suppose I can only hope I'm still welcome here.

So if you are one of the people I left hanging mid convo or debate, feel free to give me shit and pick it back up, and again, I'm sorry for leaving you hanging. If you had been trying to reach me to get an answer in the science forums, I REALLY apologize, teaching is something I really enjoy and I understand I broke people's trust by going AWOL in that department.

Anyway, if you'll still have me, I'll be around more in the future.
