Praying For a Bailout

A church in Detroit had SUV's on the altar and literally prayed for a bailout of the auto industry. Yeah, that would help.

Don't you think writing to your local congressman would be more effective? (granted, in the Detroit area voting against a bailout would have been political suicide so I'm sure that wasn't needed either. )

Maybe instead of praying for

Maybe instead of praying for a bailout, the big three should go to Toyota and find out how they've managed to make money employing American workers. Instead of shifting work overseas, as Ford has done their profits have decreased. I'm not saying there is a causation, however it seems odd that Toyota, while still not doing great, is much better off than the "American" manufacturers.
