Happy New year to all

Well another year has passed by, and I must say for me it has been a weird one, it has had it's ups and it's downs, and in many ways it was a learning experience that I was not looking forward to, however I must say I do not regret it one bit. My year started great, then got crappy really quick (wife left me.....however marriage counselling might actually be working.....might), then it got even lower (had to lay off my father from my company....temporarily) to great again (getting to move out in the new year, since I had to move back to my parents house) and my business has picked up again, at least for the next 3 months it has.

But in so many ways it was a learning experience, and one that I would do again, even though I never wanted to learn things like I did. I found out that I am truely happy with myself and the way I am, that in the end I am able to cook some DAMN good chicken teryaki and rice dishes (and a few others to boot...because I was known to screw up soup and macaroni and cheese....the microwavable type too) and that even with my own inner fears about being a father, I am not really that bad as a father, my daughter loves and and looks up to me, which is the most important part to me.

To everyone here atheists and theists alike, happy new year. may peace break into your house and theives steal your debts, may the pockets of your jeans become magnets for 100 dollar bills, may happiness slap your face and tears be that of joy. May love stick you like vaseline and may laughter assault you lips.

Oh and a good old irish saying (yeah I know I was born spanish but I grew up with irish folks go fig) May we all get to spend an hour in heaven before the devil finds out we are dead. Cheers Sticking out tongue

Security business, we install survillance systems, access controls and alarm systems. As for mechanical engineer, nope sorry no need for one. I wouldn't have a clue what to use you for exactly. However there are a few places I might be able to recommend, I just have to go through my client list when I get back to the office.

Well, sadly, I cannot so claim. I walk to work and yesterday, I did so in a snowstorm that was supposed to finish at noon. I got in just as the building was closing and also just as the storm stopped. Sometimes it sucks to be me.

However, I ate some of the party food for a quick lunch before leaving. Then I woke up this morning with what appears to be an especially violent case of salmonella. For those who have never been down that road, it is really rare to die from the disease (unless it progresses to full cholera), however, you will wish that you could. If I can get off the toilet tomorrow, I can go see my doctor to find out one way or the other.

On a more positive note, I can say that nothing worse can possibly happen to me for the rest of the year.

Well I can say it was a good one for me. Now my business partner had the same thing as you did yesterday, he had the shakes, sweats and all. A friend of mine, got into a fight, got his arm broken and dislocated shoulder as well. So I must say mine was pretty good compared to a few others.

Yikes!! My mother had salmonella last summer, and I was afraid she would die. It's just as horrible to watch. I had to drive her to the clinic a couple times to get her hooked up to an IV, because she kept losing fluids & nutrients. Anyways, get well soon and stay out of trouble the rest of the year!

And Happy New Year to everyone else as well!

Welcome back. Please, ignore all the rumors that we went through your stuff while you were gone.
