Dan Barker VA/DC Tour! (February 2-6 2009)
Offline Dan Barker, co-President of the Freedom From Religion Foundation and recent author of "Godless: How an Evangelical Preacher Become One of America's Leading Atheists" will be visiting 5 schools in the DC Metropolitan Area as well as Richmond and Williamsburg, VA. Dan's book will be available for purchase at The George Washington University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and the College of William and Mary.
I've had the honor of working with Dan to put this tour together and I hope to see some of you at one or more of the events! If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here.

This tour was mentioned on Hemant's blog (Friendly Atheist) this morning. We're all really excited and looking forward to Dan's visit. I hope to see some of you at one or more of the events.

The 200th event of Beltway Atheists is in just a few hours. We're excited in general but even more excited because Dan Barker will be joining us on this special occassion!
Blast! Why did I not hear about this until now?! Grrr. I'm like 15 minutes from Bethesda, but I already have plans for tonight. Maybe I'll pop in late. Better late then never, eh?

Wow... I had no idea you were in the area. I know it's a drive, but Dan will be at VCU tomorrow and the College of William and Mary on Friday. If you need any directions or more info, you can e-mail me at [email protected] which goes to my phone as I'll be down in Richmond tomorrow.

Sadly, no on Thursday and Friday. Even without rush hour traffic, Richmond is a 2 hour drive for me.
I'll try to keep an eye on Beltway Atheists for events.
