The book was better.
While I'm sure I'd have fun watching the bits about Westboro and their ilk, I'd feel the bile rise up in my throat when they started representing "real Christianity" as being universally tolerant, which it seems like they've chosen to do. My only Christian friends who I can actually stand to discuss religion with are the ones that don't try and act like the Bible doesn't say what it clearly says.

I sure am glad Christians are so loving...
God hates Pagans. God hates Christians. Then the tables are turned and god hates Jews in returen. And then god hates Muslims. The spawn of the hatred of other religions and of the religionists is the Old Testament even if the god mods consider that to be hate speech.
The Judean hatred of other peoples is documented from pre-Christian Roman times. It is in their own OT so it cannot be denied. That is where it started. STRIKE the ROOT!
