I'm new to the Squad..Checking out the forum..Got introduced to the site through hearing Greydon Square..I'm glad there's an outlet for freethinkers..I look forward to getting to know some peeps..peace..

Well, I'm from Portland Maine, though I haven't lived there in 7 years due to being in the military..( There ARE atheists in foxholes)
I would say that there is a strong religious presence in the military, which makes things tough sometimes for me..but I have opened some eyes and woken some to reality..which always feels good...It's always amusing to me whenI wear my atheist resistance or simililar attire..I get some off looks..but of course bei ng my size, looks is about all I get...Anyway, thanks for the warm welcomes and I'm glad to be a part of..well..a rational group..Peace
I live in the Toronto area now , and for meny yeahs, but I grew up in South Brewer. I played on The Witches football team back in the '70's when we were ranked number 5 in the nation. My size keeps me out of trubble with theists as well. You'll find the outtah statahs are easy tah get along with, shonuff!

Amazingly YES! I run into a lot of east coasters right here in the Toronto area Newfies, bluenosesers CBI's and such who grew up watching American channels. The channels they were watching where the ones in Bangor Maine, east coast Canadians know has much about Bangor/Brewer's local celebritys has I do.
