I'm not sure if anyone else heard the interview on 60 minutes, but Barack gave the 'university administrator' version of an asskicking to Dick Cheney, in reponse to dick Cheney latest ramblings as regards the closure of Gitmo.

...Out of curiousity, Cheney actually believes that keeping Guantanamo Bay open and torturing random arabs is a good idea, and actually magically compels good intelligence out of their mouths? I can't believe he's that stupid.

Apparently he's missed-out on what the Israeli and Russian inelligence services have been doing for the past few decades?
