Angels & Demons

I just watched it tonight and I thought it was pretty good, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on it. Especially on the illogical(At least that's what I see so far) plot that Obi-wan went through with. How his plan had to depend on certain things happening...

SPOILERS AHEAD

Example:

-How would they have found the anti-matter if Langdon wouldn't have rescued the last cardenal right on time?

-And what if they would've gotten to the anti-matter a couple minutes earlier and Vittoria wouldn't have said that there might be less than 5 minutes?

Can you say sequel? This appears to be one that is designed to draw its audience based upon the reputation of the first movie. You point to contrived tension as about the only plot device to try to make a dull tale of the Illuminati interesting.

Jews stole the land. The owners want it back. That is all anyone needs to know about Israel. That is all there is to know about Israel.

Save your

Save your bread.

Beautifully photographed in Italy and Luxembourg, but the
plot just didn't absorb the viewer in the movie.

*AT LEAST* they cut out the

*AT LEAST* they cut out the part from the book where Robert Langdon jumps out of the helicopter holding a tarp..Ugh...

I do like how they didn't re-write the end in order to apease catholics...Langdon remains a surly agnostic, which if nothing else is a step in the right direction...My favorite line in the movie was his response to the security guy in the Vatican Archives who was championing Catholosism when he replied "Yeah, well its also a Bank".

I appreciate all the research that Dan Brown does in order to write his novels...but for some reason after a couple of hundred pages he insists on jumping the shark...

The difference between this

The difference between this sequal and say, "Terminator" is that there are gullible dumbasses that will see this, not just as entertainment, but plausable because it is bible based bullshit.

Way back when the better half of my neighbors family was Philipino. She imported another Philipino as housekeeper. The housekeeper told me she was going to see The Exorcist to study it. (I think I broke Philipine protocol talking to her.) ((Yes, the movie dates me.))

There is no movie so fantastic that someone will not take it seriously.

Uh. Antimatter?  Spoil it

Uh. Antimatter?

Spoil it for me: where does this 'antimatter' come in, and where would they possibly get it from?

Quote:
"Natasha has just come up to the window from the courtyard and opened it wider so that the air may enter more freely into my room. I can see the bright green strip of grass beneath the wall, and the clear blue sky above the wall, and sunlight everywhere. Life is beautiful. Let the future generations cleanse it of all evil, oppression and violence, and enjoy it to the full."

I gave it to them. They left that out of the movie in favor of a more earthly explanation.

After eating an entire bull, a mountain lion felt so good he started roaring. He kept it up until a hunter came along and shot him.

The moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut.
