It's not like Iran is

It's not like Iran is sitting there twiddling its fingers. The Iranians are as innocent of being involved in ME problems as a puppy sitting by a pile of fresh puppy poo is innocent of said pooing.

How can not believing in something that is backed up with no empirical evidence be less scientific than believing in something that not only has no empirical evidence but actually goes against the laws of the universe and in many cases actually contradicts itself? - Ricky Gervais

According to my information,

According to my information, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is (was) a highly intelligent, ethical president who did his best to resist the American-funded Israeli bullying and bloodthirsty revenge calls of local Muslim religional leaders. He should receive the Nobel's peace prize.
Did any of you read his open letters to American people and president Bush? I did, and I am impressed. I'd love to have such a president, instead of that old, embarrasing donkey up the castle.
No wonder, that the global terroristic group, CIA, wants him down. Just like they want Chavez and everyone brave enough to oppose the American empire.

I meant a Nobel peace prize for that man alone, not for his country.
Ahmadinejad is a president of country primarily led by fundamentalist Muslims. He managed to tame them enough to not be a threat for other countries, unlike the propaganda of White House says. This is a great achievement, reflecting qualities of that man, but unfortunately not forever. Further improvement in internal conditions is unlikely, if it will be still fuelled by the hostility from the outside. Extremism flourishes in harsh conditions.
And still, the human rights in his country are better than in Israel for Palestinians, the true owners of that territory.

Honestly, I'm more afraid of American threat to global peace, than Iranian. Iranians doesn't control our local government and media, to estabilish a missile base here, capable of endangering half of the globe, unlike someone else.

Why don't you move there, Lumey?  When Maitreya shows up to announce he's the 12th imam, he'll have to do it in Iran; that's where the legend started.

Hear, hear!!! Yes, Noam Chomsky gained my confidence, when he publically identified the prepared european radar and missile bases primarily as a tool of offense, not defense.
As for the article, it's brilliant. This is how a true democracy is built. The modern version of government is not truly democratic, there can be no democracy without participation. In recent elections to European Parliament, only 28% of voters went to vote. This is not a democracy, demoralizing the people and then letting the big parties win without changes. The demoralization is so great, that relatively small percentage of voters is just enough to keep the status quo, which does only harm to the country. People must participate on the government and local or regional government must be equally important as the central.

Thanks for the links, just the videos will have to wait for three months, until I get a faster internet.

Maybe he's 12th imam, but he's also the 5th buddha, announced by the 4th Buddha. (under the name Maitreya) Does it mean I should move to India instead?

I don't have to move anywhere. He said: "Do not go after me. If you follow me, you will lose me. Do not try to put me in your pocket."  And he meant that exactly to get rid of annoying devotees who would like to make him an object of worship instead of what he is, the teacher of nations. (and devas) As for the teaching, television and internet are good enough, better than hauling my ass over there and taking notes on paper.

Surely you can't be serious. The man is a rampant holocaust denier and he has on many occasions told people that he things that Israel is an abomonation and that it should be wiped off the earth. And you want to give him a peace prize?

Luminon,

The solution to flawed democracies ruled by nitwits is a more enlightened public to elect someone better. Even Stalin was highly intelligent and in many ways ethical in defending eastern Europe from the Nazis. Would you want him as your ruler? Folks like you who embrace eastern mysticism would be the among the Bahai's, homosexuals, atheists and apostates in Iran facing the death penalty. Ahmadinejad would likely have an orgasm over your death. The solution to nimrods like Bush is someone like Obama and not a totalitarian dictator.

- abomination and that it should be wiped off the Earth. Well I know that you were addressing Luminon, but after reading your take on Ahaminejad,I felt like putting in my two cents, and it goes something like this; From what I have read (translation of his words) he does not deny that the Holocaust occurred, instead he has asked about the total number of Jews were killed,he believes that it has been over-inflated. It kinds of remind me of Norm Finkelstein book "The Holocaust Industry" check out his work www.normfinkelstein.com/category/the-holocaust-industry/ and both of his parents are survivors of the Holocaust. And I never read were he states that Israel should be wiped off the Earth (except in the American media) instead,he has asked why is it that the Palestinians should suffer, the Holocaust happened in Europe. And he has also said that why should the Palestinians recognize Israel,Israel don't recognize Palestine.      PS.the link goes to the wrong Norm Finkelstein, try  this one www.normanfinkelstein.com/biogrphy/ Well that one kind of works,at least it goes to the right web site, but when there you have to click on "The Holocaust Industry"

Israel is an abomination and should be wiped off the map, (not earth!) because it is a racistic state, based on practices similar to the Old Testament history. Sionism is simply a pro-jewish racism. The massacre in Palestine to clear the land for Israel is a genocide.
Considering the Holocaust as an excuse for Israelites to terrorize the Middle east is not only denying it, it's twisting the meaning of it for their selfish purposes. Jews were not even remotely the only nation which suffered from the Holocaust. And yet, only their government and army (and bankers) considers it as a some sort of debt, which all the world is obliged to repay. Nobody can correct all crimes of the past, without committing even more crimes. The example is now the Palestinian land, where Palestinians live for more than 2000 years, and suddenly it has to be Jewish-only state. I remind you, the King Hussein of Jordan officially gave that territory to Palestinians, before it was taken from them by terroristic practices of armed groups like the Stern gang or Zeva'i Leumi. Israelites invented terrorism, just with the difference, that they had a plenty of American dollars in their pockets, so they didn't need suicide bombers.
And mr. Ahmadinejad is not liked simply for telling the history and standing his ground, which contradicts the American interests in Middle East. But it is immensely important. There can be no global peace, if the conflict in Middle East won't be resolved. There is 60 OSN resolutions to punish the state of Israel for it's crimes, but not even one was taken into effect! USA, vetoed them all.

If you want to know something about what and how Ahmadinejad is thinking, take care to hear out him as well. You can read his open letters to American nation. And I'll have to watch the Obama Deception film. Barrack may be a good man, but there are reputedly some suspicious interests behind his election. Hopefully he will manage to get his trusty people to offices around him and to not fulfill these interests. I'll be relieved greatly, if Barrack refuses to continue in enforcing the payments for American way of living on the world, and he survives that.

Ken. G: Thanks for the support from your sources.

You have to remember that Ahmadinejad isn't really in charge.
