Kelowna's on fire
Kelowna (town in B.C.) is on fire. It's been a dry season in the west, so this might get bad.
LatinCanuck, are you alright? I know you're from the west coast, and I thought you mentioned Kelowna once or twice. Jeffrick? (I'm not sure where you're from)? Doomy (...Ah, Hell, like fire would put an end to you anyway. )?
I think everyone else is from out East, unless I'm mistaken (I know Alison, Will and Thom are)?
"Natasha has just come up to the window from the courtyard and opened it wider so that the air may enter more freely into my room. I can see the bright green strip of grass beneath the wall, and the clear blue sky above the wall, and sunlight everywhere. Life is beautiful. Let the future generations cleanse it of all evil, oppression and violence, and enjoy it to the full."

Kelownas on fire every year... its not exactly a "new" thing
I live rather close by, and i, in no way, had anything to do with THIS fire
What Would Kharn Do?
Alright, be serious for just a moment Doomy:
Do you actually live near Kelowna? If so, how bad is the situation? Are you okay? Recieved evacuation notices or anything?

Yes...
Dont know, dont care
No?
"Its only fire... whats the worst that could happen?"
What Would Kharn Do?
I can see the flames from here!
RUN!!!!!
But I travel out west all the time (last time was for an overnight job in Edmonton) Passed by Kelowna a few times, got some friends close there, but they haven't received any evac notices yet.
Doomed is right. The whole area is beset by fire every year, and it's a good thing. The trees need it. I lived right by Kelowna for years. It rarely is a threat to people and property.

Which is a pity, because the inhabitants needed the fire more then the trees...
What Would Kharn Do?
They always do.
