Hello!

Hello, I am Syph and I live in England, I have a large interest in socialising, religion, politics, science, philosophy, medicine (I hope to be a doctor), reading great Sci-Fi etc.

My religious founding was intially Catholic until after my confirmation upon which I expressed doubts. My morals are rather conservative: no casual sex, being a gentleman etc. Many have been revised in atheism/ignosticism. Yes, I meant ignosticism.

I hope to have a great time debating things political and ontological on this forum.

 Hola Syphro and welcome to

Hola Syphro and welcome to the forums!

Where in deepest, darkest England-shire are you from?  I'm a fellow UK resident (Scotland) so I might actually have a chance of knowing where you stay Smiling  Hopw you have a good time while you're here.

Welcome! As you can

Welcome!
As you can ascertain from my sig, I'm a Canadian gamer. I've been in church to vote and for 1 wedding and 1 funeral, but those are my only clear memories of churches. I've never really believed in a deity, though the whole thing certainly confused me as a child. I was completely agnostic probably until my teens, at which point I'd attained enough knowledge to completely rule out all of the major religions. Smaller ones were later casualties. There are not many "spiritual" scenarios under which I'm agnostic anymore, though the ones remaining are unlikely to change at this point.

Enlightened Atheist, Gaming God.

Hello, Syphro, welcome to

Hello, Syphro, welcome to the forum.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, | As I foretold you, were all spirits, and | Are melted into air, into thin air; | And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, | The cloud-capped towers, the gorgeous palaces, | The solemn temples, the great globe itself, - Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve, | And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, | Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff | As dreams are made on, and our little life | Is rounded with a sleep. - Shakespeare

Hello!
I hope that you'll enjoy it here. I'm here, because I love to practice the english language and I have a similar interests, plus a few not so similar. This place attracts various types of people, (for example, I'm very various type Smiling ) but don't be fooled, atheists are the home-brewed players and there will be always quite a safe haven from theistic madness.
Ignosticism sounds like a good start. It's the first time I hear of it, but I already recall some people who are implicit ignostics.
