Searching for a TV interview

...in USA, that happened between the beginning of Xmas 2009 and 14th January 2010. It was broadcasted also on the internet. Approximately, 10-14 millions of people saw it. The interviewed man was previously rather unknown and earnestly spoke of "need for peace, achievable only through the creation of justice and the sharing of the world’s resources." The program and television network should be major and well known.

Obviously, I'm not an American, I can't watch american televisions, I don't know the programs there. I don't know how the guy looks like, but he might be around his 50's, bearded, Pakistani origin, teacher, but not necessarily. I think it must be an interesting interview and this might be a big new celebrity of the upcoming years. So I ask you, dear Americans, please do some searching if you can.

Are you referring to Maitreya?

Tariq Ali

This is not it... (it's too old and it's also a speech)... but you just gotta love Tariq Ali.

No comment Smiling I don't wish to point at some man and say that he is or isn't Maitreya, not in the public. In the public, I want people to think about his words, and his economical and political suggestions and opinions. Of course, first I have to find some good candidates.

Thanks, sounds very interesting. And it's also a close type of person that I'm looking for.
EDIT: You're right, he's awesome!

He IS an artist, modernist style painter, exactly. He has his paintings all over his book covers. But what informal balance do you mean?

Thanks. My personal guess is, that this man might get to the TV by his great authority and experience in the big Indian-Pakistani community (ghetto) in London. He actually had to work on community problems, as miniaturized version of national problems. He also was not in TV before, except of a tiny bit in one old document about this ethnic community.
