The Rational Response Squad is a group of atheist activists who impact society by changing the way we view god belief. This site is a haven for those who are pushing back against the norm, and a place for believers of gods to have their beliefs exposed as false should they want to try their hand at confronting us. “A meritocratic society is one in which inequalities of wealth and social position solely reflect the unequal distribution of merit or skills amongst human beings, or are based upon factors beyond human control, for example luck or chance. Such a society is socially just because individuals are judged not by their gender, the colour of their skin or their religion, but according to their talents and willingness to work, or on what Martin Luther King called 'the content of their character'. By extension, social equality is unjust because it treats unequal individuals equally.” "Political Ideologies" by Andrew Heywood (2003)
Blackened blood that stains this bed
My sweet addiction I thee wed
You will work
I will win
I will drink in all your sin
Till gallon drunk I hit the ground
Your reason rhymes with pence & pounds
Money makes morality
Your dividends
My decency
You will condemn
I'll convert
You will preach
and you will pervert
You will condemn
I'll convert
You will preach
and you will pervert
CONDEMN!
CONVERT!
YOU PREACH...
PERVERT.
CONDEMN!
CONVERT!
YOU PREACH...
PERVERT!
Your cheapest cut is sweet corrosion
The interest due is never frozen
Pass the bill
Have your thrill
There's a pill for all your ills
You will condemn
I'll convert
You will preach
and you will pervert
You will condemn
I'll convert
You will preach
and you will pervert
CONDEMN!
CONVERT!
YOU PREACH...
PERVERT.
CONDEMN!
CONVERT!
YOU PREACH...
PERVEEERRRRT!
Lay on your face
And beg
That the mercy of god
Will come upon you!!!!!!!!!

I Can't Stand It, I Know You Planned It
I'ma Set It Straight, This Watergate
I Can't Stand Rockin' When I'm In Here
'Cause Your Crystal Ball Ain't So Crystal Clear
So, While You Sit Back And Wonder Why
I Got This Fucking Thorn In My Side
Oh My God, It's A Mirage
I'm Tellin' Y'all It's Sabotage
So,So,So, So Listen Up 'Cause You Can't Say Nothin'
You Shut Me Down With A Push Of Your Button
But yo, I'm Out And I'm Gone
I'll Tell You Now I Keep It On And On dam!
'Cause What You See You Might Not Get
And We Can Bet, So Don't You Get Souped Yet
Scheming On A Thing That's A Mirage
I'm Tryin' To Tell You Now It's Sabotage
Why; Our Backs Are Now Against The Wall
Listen All Of Y'all This Is Sabotage
Listen All Of Y'all This Is Sabotage
Listen All Of Y'all This Is Sabotage
Listen All of Y'all This Is Sabotage
I Can't Stand It, I Know You Planned It
I'ma Set It Straight This Watergate
I Can't Stand Rockin' When I'm In This Place
Because I Feel Disgrace Because You're All In My Face
But Make No Mistakes And Switch Up My Channel
I'm Buddy Rich When I Fly Off The Handle
What Could It Be, It's A Mirage
You're Scheming On A Thing That's Sabotage

You break my back
You won't break me
All is black
But I still see
Shut me down
Save me from myself
Shoot me up
Let me burn in hell
Trapped under ice
Comfortably cold
I've gone as low as you can go
Feel no remorse
No sense of shame
Time's gonna wash away all pain
I made a god
Out of blood
Not superiority
I killed the king
Of deceit
Now I sleep in anarchy
Sacrifice to the cause
Turn your code into law
Compensate to validate the loss
Take a thief, nail him to a cross
Gospel of rage
Faction of hate
Deviate from the absolute
Born of revenge
Raised on cement
Chaos created government
I made a god out of blood
Not superiority
I killed the king
Of deceit
Now I sleep in anarchy
I made a god out of blood
Not superiority
I killed the king
Of deceit
Wake me up in anarchy

YES, SO THE MESSAGE GOES
LIKE AN INSECT IN ITS DEATH-THROES
A MAGIC-CARPET-RIDE TO HELL
THEN BACK TO HER WITH TIME TO TELL
A METAL-SCAR ON EVERY FACE
WE WALK TO A FORBIDDEN PLACE
WHERE DIRTY WATER CLEANS THE SOUL
WE POUR INTO ANOTHER HOLE
UNDER A CONCRETE-SKY
BARRICADES BEGIN TO RISE
SUN AND STARS BEGIN TO FALL
A SONIC-BOOM CONDEMNS US ALL
DECAPITATED SOLDIERS FIGHT
AND MINISTERS CONTROL THE THE LIGHT
IN LEAKING GAS WE BAKE OUR FLESH
AND IN THE AIR WE FIGHT FOR BREATH
HERE COMES A SECRET DELIVERY
ALL ABOARD THE REASON WHY
A BROKEN DOWN DISCOVERY
THE RULES, THE RULES DO NOT APPLY
I'M HALF BLIND AND I'M LOSING
A PICTURE THAT IS OUT OF CONTROL
I'M LYING ON THE GROUND BUT I'M MOVING
A PRISON BEING BUILT ROUND MY SOUL
AUF DEM FLIEGENDEN TEPPICH ZUR HOLLE UND ZURUCK
MIT AUSFUHRLICHEM BERICHT
UNTER BLEIERNEM HIMMEL
BARRIKADEN VERDUNKELN DAS LICHT
KOPFLOSE SOLDATEN IN DER SCHLACHT
INSEKTEN IN TODESZUCKUNGEN
IM ANGESICHT VERLOSCHENDER GESTIRNE VERLASSEN
UNS ALLE HOFFNUNGEN

(Bitter irony here -the group's name is Faithless, but the themes, lyrics, and musicians' beliefs often center around theistic beliefs. The lead singer, Maxi Jazz, is buddhist)

I liked that Massive Attack tune. How do you post the You Tube vidio here? Is anyone able to do it?
When you making your posts click on the source button in the upper left hand corner. Then past in the embed information for the youtube video you want to add.
Thanks RatDog, that did it.
Tried it a few days ago. Didn't work. Could you screen shot how to make this work then msg it to me? Like the page source that needs to be cut & pasted here? Thx in advance.

KMFDM-"save me"
If you don't know if you have found what you are looking for
The silver-lining always starts to fade
And what you don't know is that you don't know the truth anymore
Now you try sleeping in the bed you have made
The feeling is gone and the circle is broken
Like water under a burning bridge
A million words but nothing is spoken
A deafening silence replaced by fear
Save me
I can't find my way home
The grace i've fallen from
The only truth i've ever known
So when you tell me what you tell me
I can't take it anymore
The same old story goes around and around
You think that if you speak alittle louder than you did before
The point you make might somehow stick around
If empathy is no more than a token
I cry a river in the pouring rain
The princess still sleeps but she will be woken
Her kiss of love is killing me
Save me
I can't find my way home
The ground i'm walking on
The only friend i've ever known
Mother father
The battle I fight is for no one
No one but myself
Brother sister
The devil inside is my own now
There's no way you could understand
You don't understand
Mother father
The tears that you cry are for no one
No one but yourself
Brother sister
I travel this road on my own now
There's no way you could understand

Faithless - Salva Mea

I wanna take a look at the world behind these eyes,
Every nook, every cranny reorganise,
Realise my face don't fit the way I feel.
What's real ?
I need a mirror to check my face is in place,
Incase of upheaval, fundamental movement below,
What's really going on I wanna know,
But yo, we don't show on the outside, so slide.
Just below my skin I'm screaming...
(Help me!)
I need a mirror for my spirit,
Yeah, can you feel it ?
When I get deep, wanna hear myself sleep,
Not drowning, just tumbling around and around in the voices
Like a crowd in my head so loud,
I wonder what it's like to be dead,
I hope it's quiet, noise in my head like a riot,
Any remedy you have for me I'll try it.
Just below my skin I'm screaming...
I'm going deep, so deep that I can't sleep,
The pills ain't cheap but the bills are steep,
So I lick up with a booze and a spliff,
Try to snooze,
But who's dreaming, I ain't, this is win or lose,
Put down the drink, try not to think,
Let it go, fundamental movement below,
And yo, reality is dreaming,
Just below my skin I'm screaming...

Faithless - Insomnia
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBrUjvONIrA
Deep in the bosom of the gentle night
Is when I search for the light
Pick up my pen and start to write
I struggle, fight dark forces
In the clear moon light
Without fear... insomnia
I can't get no sleep
I used to worry, thought I was goin' mad in a hurry
Gettin' stress, makin' excess mess in darkness
No electricity, something's all over me, greasy
Insomnia please release me and let me dream of
Makin' mad love to my girl on the heath
Tearin' off tights with my teeth
But there's no release, no peace
I toss and turn without cease
Like a curse, open my eyes and rise like yeast
At least a couple of weeks
Since I last slept, kept takin' sleepers
But now I keep myself pepped
Deeper still, that night I write by candle light
I find insight, fundamental movement, uh
So when it's back this insomniac take an original tack
Keep the beast in my nature under ceaseless attack
I gets no sleep
I can't get no sleep
I can't get no sleep
I can't get no sleep
I need to sleep, although I get no sleep
I need to sleep, although I get no sleep

The Beastie Boys video embedding privilege was denied, upon request, you have to go to You Tube to see it. If I knew how to do a screen shot I could maybe help you with that. It is real easy though, all you have to do is get the embed code from under the video at You Tube, then click on the source button at the top left in the comment text box, where you post the text of your message, and just paste the code you got from You Tube in the source text box (it turns white from the usual gray.) If that was what you were having trouble with, though I don't know how you could have posted the first Rasta one.
Ok... I finally got the bloody thing to work in "preview comment". Thanks.
BTW, to make a screenshot of... anything that doesn't use the directx API... hit the "prt scr" key which should be at the top and near the right of your keyboard. Do NOT attempt to 'copy' anything to your clipboard. Next, open up an image editor (I prefer MSpaint because it's relatively simple and straight-forward), click "new" and then press Ctrl+V. Resize as is necessary... and choose a good image format to keep the file size down. Bandwidth has become rather expensive despite miniaturization.
edit1:flashblock and firebug (or "View Page Source".) do not seem to cooperate well with each other. Grrrrrr
edit2: ow. head hurts.
edit3: in addition to my head hurting, the answer was right under my nose the entire time.

PAYBACK TIME!
.
Finally the storm arrives
Out wait is at an end
Under dark winter skies
We make our final stand
For each of us, there are four of them
It matters not to us
We won't leave this field in shame
We are here to crush!
[x2]
Futile to resist
You know why we have come
Futile to resist
The battle is already won!
Our hearts are full of pounding rage
Our mind hard as steel
Right before the dying day
We will have you kneel
The snow turns red from all the blood
Severed limbs and heads
A sacrifice to one-eyed God
He will claim the dead!
Under the winter skies
We stand glorious!
And with Oden on our side
We are victorious!
No retreat, no remorse
Victory will be ours
Blood on steel, sacrifice
Victory will be ours
Under the winter skies
We stand glorious!
And with Oden on our side
We are victorious!
[x2]
Futile to resist
You know why we have come
Futile to resist
The battle is already won!
