Shame they couldn't just get along, gilmour was a good part of pink floyd.
If your a pink floyd fan, I'll show you to the best cover of Time.
I suppose, but I actually think that Dave did some really good stuff with PF after Roger, it was different and perhaps better than some of the last stuff they did with Roger. I didn't care much for The Wall or Final Cut, and I actually like Roger's stuff as well as that. Roger's Amused To Death is my all time favorite album. I like David's On An Island as well, so, it worked out alright.
Yeah, that was okay, though I would have liked to hear the drum intro. My band plays Time and I sort of dread it because I'm on the drums and I'm not real big on drum solos. Sometimes I can do it pretty good and sometimes I just am not in the mood, especially since we have been playing it for about 16 years.
Shannon Larkin was the drummer in that song, if you like drumss this is nice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ujf9tXzGdE

Badass.
Everything makes more sense now that I've stopped believing.
That was freakin' sweet!
A few months ago I had the awesome pleasure of playing a gig with me and another really talented drummer and it was really cool. Oddly enough in all my years of playing I had never done that and I'm really glad I did, it was a great deal of fun.
I play a "little" guitar, have been for 20 years and I have yet to get past basic power chords and scales. But I agree, there is not much in this world that is more fun than playing music with a group of people. Even if you are all subpar, you can still have a lot of fun even playing fairly simple things.
