Smoking or non-smoking?

Actually saw this sign on a church marquee:

I'm so glad I don't have to make a living by threating people with eternal torture.

Taxation is the price we pay for failing to build a civilized society. The higher the tax level, the greater the failure. A centrally planned totalitarian state represents a complete defeat for the civilized world, while a totally voluntary society represents its ultimate success. --Mark Skousen

I live about a mile from

I live about a mile from work and I have to drive past 2 signs like this every day. They put a cute saying on there every week. They are using cell phones, google etc, trying to appeal to young people, it's disgusting.

Faith is the word but next to that snugged up closely "lie's" the want.

“A meritocratic society is one in which inequalities of wealth and social position solely reflect the unequal distribution of merit or skills amongst human beings, or are based upon factors beyond human control, for example luck or chance. Such a society is socially just because individuals are judged not by their gender, the colour of their skin or their religion, but according to their talents and willingness to work, or on what Martin Luther King called 'the content of their character'. By extension, social equality is unjust because it treats unequal individuals equally.” "Political Ideologies" by Andrew Heywood (2003)

God is a jealous god. You know, lets say you are married and your spouse want's a divorce. And it doesn't even have to be nasty, but something where she simply says, "I am not in love with you any more" and doesn't want a bitter fight, but merely wants to part company.

God is the the asshole who stalks you and threatens you with "If I can't have you, no one can".

I'm surprised I wasn't given a theist tag for this. Suggesting that such incorporeal concepts exist, and all...

So you want to spend eternity with Fundies?

The Christian version of hell can be disproven. In order for us atheists to be completely tormented, the buring flesh would not be enough. We would need christians there beside us telling us about their faith, their miracles and how Jesus is so loving.

Is that you may actually be right
