The Night Before Reason, By Brian37
Twas the night before
He talked to me
And told me to kill
My kid
And all through the house
I offered my daughter
To save my dwellings
Her virginity topped with a bow
The tinsel glitters
In shiny crimson
Infanticide watched over
By dad in the sky
They tried to kill you
But did so fail
And to groom the sponges
With a Red Suit sale
He sees you when your sleeping
And knows when your awake
An Orwellian thought topped with icing
The poison they gleefully take
Farm animals in the cattle cars
Circle the festive trees
Gloss over the pain of drowning
To save one family
She shreds the wrapping
Joyfully hoisting Barby
Shouting "thank you mommy"
Ignorant of the real meaning
That a man
Or so they claim
Was tortured and bleed to death
And speared in the side
Would she smile
If mommy so demanded
That her little girl
Speared her precious Barby
Would she smile
If daddy so demanded
That she spread her legs
To save their dwellings?
Would she smile
If she were on a boat
Petting her sheep
While waves took others under
Twas the night before reason
And under the tree
I expose the brutality
Of such misery
That such a myth
Must be candy coated
In order to sell
Such a immoral book
To teach a kid
That violent death
Will bring you gifts
While big brother watches
Reason our plight
Must end with two words
To an insidious myth
We must say good night

This poem is about how people gloss over the immoral stories in the bible. Such as god asking someone to kill their kid. Such as a dad offering up his daughter to save his house. Such as god watching as the male babies are butchered in a failed attempt to kill Jesus. Such as using, or allowing genocide to kill off all of humanity except Noah, including humans who merely picked the wrong club, or babies who wouldn't have been old enough to know what a club was.
If they want to call the bible a good book, why do they hide these horrible stories from their children? Why not teach your child to stab a doll to replicate the Romans killing Jesus? Why not tell your daughter to fuck someone to save your house? If it is such a good book, why do you skip these stories?
The only way you can groom a kid to believe in such a horrible book is to try to cover the stench with a very weak air freshener.
