Pathetic layman "threat" I just got.

I won't even bother posting the link, it was just that silly.

But a woman named Janice posted

Quote:
"Remember what you said, because God will"

My response:

Quote:
"And do what to me? I am sure it will be as horrible as anything Mickey Mouse could do to me. I have nothing to fear from fictional disembodied magical super brains, be they named Allah, or Thor, or Isis or your pet god. But the fans of these super heros certainly have made a mess of our human history, haven't they?"

I am quaking in my boots.

You should have added "and

You should have added "and your god will note your thinly veiled threat as well you extremely good person you" =D

Faith is the word but next to that snugged up closely "lie's" the want.

  So much of Christianity

So much of Christianity is just based on coercion and threats.  My Christian girlfriend even admits her main reason for becoming a Christian is simply to avoid punishment ( hell ).  All three Abrahamic religions are filth.

Actually Kap

Last night I dined with my mother and during the evening's proceedings she told me I was lucky god was infinitely patient or I would be dead. And she meant it.

Well Brian, it is a good

Well Brian, it is a good thing that she did not try to scare you with the boogey man. He is totally real and he will get you if you go to sleep with the lights out.

Well... just tell her she's lucky he doesn't exist, or else she'd probably be roasting to a burnt husk at some point in the not-too-distant future.(Depending on how much life she has left in her)

“A meritocratic society is one in which inequalities of wealth and social position solely reflect the unequal distribution of merit or skills amongst human beings, or are based upon factors beyond human control, for example luck or chance. Such a society is socially just because individuals are judged not by their gender, the colour of their skin or their religion, but according to their talents and willingness to work, or on what Martin Luther King called 'the content of their character'. By extension, social equality is unjust because it treats unequal individuals equally.” "Political Ideologies" by Andrew Heywood (2003)

Any fictitious being would

Any fictitious being would be infinitely patient when it comes to actually doing anything..anything at all, which makes her quite correct.

I tell you what god must infinitely be

He must be infinitely fucken bored. No longer can he run about creating mega-galactic fireworks - he's stuck here peering at our ant farm to see if any of us is having a wank. Gee, Lord. Your life sounds almighty bloody tedious.

Yea, daddy cares about porn and masturbation, but when you kill in his name, he is jacking off himself. Arnold blowing someone's head of, go for it. Show a nipple or a penis and you'll burn in hell. Well oh magical genius, if you didn't want us playing with our fun parts, why the fuck did you give them to us in the first place?

More absurd logic from theism. Violence good, sex bad.
