Robert Fox, czech illusionist

Here's one my countryman I can be proud of. I don't know how he does his tricks, but apparently he does them in complete field circumstances, without preparation. For example, here he takes about 10 dollar bill and changes it to 100 dollar bill, then back to 10. And then he conjures a change for the bill. All with empty hands and no sleeves to hide anything in. He's certainly very talented.

Fox has his own show on national TV channel. Obviously, his style is doing magic right on spot, with complete strangers, often with their stuff. In these circumstances he works to make reality look like illusion. Of course, most of his tricks could be replicated by extensive preparation, but he intentionally avoids controlled circumstances. His purpose seems to be puzzling people.
Considering the average skeptic's observing skills, I hope you all see what's on the videos.

Magic?

Er, wait.  Your contention is that this guy is actually doing Magic as opposed to a tricky illusion?

[Edited for spelling]

Magnets, how do they work?

“A meritocratic society is one in which inequalities of wealth and social position solely reflect the unequal distribution of merit or skills amongst human beings, or are based upon factors beyond human control, for example luck or chance. Such a society is socially just because individuals are judged not by their gender, the colour of their skin or their religion, but according to their talents and willingness to work, or on what Martin Luther King called 'the content of their character'. By extension, social equality is unjust because it treats unequal individuals equally.” "Political Ideologies" by Andrew Heywood (2003)

I'm not sure. But I heard of an interview with him, and he says he doesn't really know how he does it, he just does. It seems to be all improvisation.

For example, that highway mark was from some random car on the street, and he clearly moved it, when he put it back it was placed a bit differently. That wouldn't happen if that would be only some optical trick.

OK Luminon, magicians are

OK Luminon, magicians are basically always doing tricks of some kind. The real deal is not being amazed by what you see so much as trying to figure out how something is done. If you pay close attention (and possibly do a frame-by-frame) you can get some clues as to what is actually going on.

With this guy, doing a frame-by-frame does not work because he does not use a single camera shot. The camera view is changing all the time so we would have a really hard time showing that he did not take several different performances and stitch them together to make the video look like it was all one thing.

Also, it is fairly obvious that he is using some pretty general techniques such as showing that one hand is empty so that the audience will accept that the other hand is also empty, even though he did not show the other hand.
