New Edition Of Bible Specifically Mentions Second Amendment
CHICAGO—A new translation of the Bible released this week directly mentions the Second Amendment on eight occasions, and includes a version of Psalm 23 that begins, "The Lord is my shepherd, and the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."
Positive early feedback praised the new edition for its clean design, readability, and beautiful rendering of Proverbs.
"For the Lord your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and give your enemies over to you," Deuteronomy 23:14 reads. "Your camp shall be holy, and if that means exercising your constitutional right to purchase a firearm, then that's your own damn business."
The leather-bound book also comes with a handsomely crafted carrying case and a fully loaded, nickel-plated Glock 17 8mm.

And the onion finally missed a point!
Don't need a goddamned book to say what I can do. It is simply a fact that you can't make people not carry what they want. Really, how about if I walk around town with an ax on my shoulder? Are the Anti gun crowd going to say, “well, it ain't a gun and only guns are icky”?

Now that is is a religion I could support. But could I get my bible with a Sig?
Well, Beyond Saving, remember that it is still a bible, with all that is attached.
However, I am reminded of the words of saint Ihavenocluewhosaidit.
Personally, I like revolvers.

Yes, but if christians can pick and choose parts of their bible so can I. Mostly, I just want the gun and since every hotel room I stay in includes a free bible I expect my free gun to be included as well. (Seriously, some of the slums I've stayed in, the hotel really should include a free gun.)
Revolvers have their charms. I have always been interested in taking up the old western style shooting contests they look like a lot of fun.
If, if a white man puts his arm around me voluntarily, that's brotherhood. But if you - if you hold a gun on him and make him embrace me and pretend to be friendly or brotherly toward me, then that's not brotherhood, that's hypocrisy.- Malcolm X
I like them also ( currently own S&W model's 686, 629, 500 ) but not for a carry gun.
