Unconditional Love...
Someone e-mailed this to me today and I thought it was sweet beyond words.

Hope you enjoy it, too.

...and, here's my rescued baby Sweet Pea, a European Starling whose vocabulary amazes me. He's like a tape recorder, literally. Besides imitating my cough and my laugh he says:
Hi Honey
Hi Jack (my Blue Healer dog)
Jack's a good boy
Here kitty, kitty, kitty
Where's Jack?
Where's the kitty?
Oop! There's the kitty!
Jack's a good boy
Let's clean your house
Did you go poopie?
Want to go swimming?
Who's that?
What was that?
Hey! Got off a the door, bad cat!
Hey! Get out of that cat food! Bad dog!
Give me a kiss (kiss, kiss, kiss sound)
Aww, I got a kiss! (giggle, giggle)
He's so pretty
He's so sweet
He's so smart
Look at all the stars!
Look at all the sunshine!
...and many more.
He also whistles and sometimes mixes the words together like, Jack's a good kitty.
I found him at work last June, he had fallen out of a nest at the top of the loading dock. He was about a week old and only had a few pin feathers.
More fun than a house-full of cats! (but, don't tell the cats I said so )

We have five parrots and love each of them. Each have their own personalities and tricks they like to do or things they like to say. My wife is a federal law enforcement officer and our large cockatoo likes to say "locknload"
'Locknload' They would be good burglar alarms!
Yes! What personalities they have! I never would have thought it before I had one in the house. It's amazing what non-humans are capable of doing - when you take the time to notice.
