You know, this is Rock and Roll, seize the moment, let the juices run free and all that. A metaphor for youth and freedom.

The Dead Boys had another angle on this topic with 'Ain't it fun (when you know that you're gonna die young)'.

And then there was 'Take a walk on the wild side', 'Mama weer all crazee now' and so on.

In cases like this, it may be worth pondering: 'What would the Taliban think?'

Probably much the same as the Captain Sensible persona.
