Thomas Piketty Refuted
Offline Im not sure if any of you have heard of this guy (im going to guess probably) but this is the guy who recently came out with this massive tome of a book Capital in the 21st century, which has this crazy theory that an increase in capital lead to an increase in wealth disparity (obviously very truncated summary but the major view I think)
This work was highly praised by progressives and those of that ilk

I stopped watching the ones you posted after the guy claimed it was an "article of faith" and claimed believing it was equivalent to geocentrism.
Those aren't arguments. Those are a sophists trick.
And who gives a shit what this guy says anyways, Mitt Romney is rich and started businesses and hired people too, so does that mean hes right?
My argument against taxes isn't even an economic one, its a moral one.

I never heard of the guy, or his study. I give it zero credence. The problems with economics in society are far more varied than a simple increase in capital. Constant inflation is one of the inherent flaws, but it is one of many.
