Because the asshole needs a distraction from the fact Cohen spent today, and will spend tomorrow and Thursday ratting the fucker out.
And if anyone wants to claim he is still lying, Cohen is under threat of having his deal revoked if he lies. Not only that investigators are not going to have him testify if they themselves don't have seperate evidence to back up his testimony.
