Anthropogenic Global Warming - 6th graders say "no"
This is my first post on this forum, so hopefully this is somewhat legible. I've thoroughly enjoyed what I've come across here thus far.
Anyway, just wonder if anyone read about this teacher (who has written a creatonist book) who had his 6th grade science class students conduct a trial on the validity of anthropogenic global warming. The "jury" decided, after hearing the "evidence", that humans do not contribute to global warming. The teachers son was, of course, the lead prosecutor for the anti-human caused GW side.
This guy is being paid, at least in part, by the taxpayers of Colorado. Is it just me, or is there something very, very wrong with this picture (on a number of levels)?

p.s. don't volcanos only contribute a fraction of the CO2 to the atmosphere that humans do? And I've actually read they cause global cooling, due to the "haze effect"?

Are you doubting this? Jeez, everyone knows that evangelicals and 6th graders are much smarter than scientists!
Organised religion is the ultimate form of blasphemy.

Longmont must be a pretty dull place if a 6th grade half debate half courtroom session actually made it into the newspaper.

And it's in Colorado. Talk about your rocky mountain high, huh?
