Well, I'd sure like to hear what some of the theists around here think about Colbert.
Bump!
Atheist Books, purchases on Amazon support the Rational Response Squad server.
Love him.
EDIT: He did interview the guy I love in my signature after all
I enjoy his show, although it pains me a little to say that I agree with some of the things that he sartirizes.
Yeah, im curious on what some of the theists think of him as well. I might have to start a "Theists, what evil things do you call Bill Maher?" since he is pretty much against religion and isn't afraid of saying it.

Well, I'm not a theist, but Colbert is f'n hi-larious!
His new Ben & Jerry's ice cream (Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream) is damn good too.

I've heard he was a very Liberal Christian, and even taught Sunday School, is this at all true?

Stewert/Colbert for '08! I love them both!
I love Colber', but I can't stand Jon Stewart! Just something about him I don't find funny...
Colbert is a Roman Catholic in real life as well as on his show. He's a liberal in real life too (but who hasn't figured that out?).
He does seem to poke fun at his own religion a lot though, doesn't he? ...especially the pope.Flying Spaghetti Monster -- Great Almighty God? Or GREATEST Almighty God?
Could it be his shameless display of feigned innocence and confusion every time he speaks to one of his correspondents?
That does get on my nerves a bit, but I still think he's awesome.
Flying Spaghetti Monster -- Great Almighty God? Or GREATEST Almighty God?
I think Stephen would take issue with the way in which you've ordered the ticket. :^)
