Death of Self Awareness

I am not a theist and I not arguing a point either.

"What" expiriences?  The short answer is the brain.  I thought about this one from the first moments I realized I 'could' expirience.  Once I realized that my expiriences were unique from others I began to wonder how others saw things and how similar or dis-similar they were to my own.  I'm not talking about colors and tastes and things of that nature, but merely 'being' there.  Self awareness if you will.  Life in the universe, by our current knowledge, is a unique occurance.  True it may not be the 'only' occurance, but as far as we know it is.  My sense of self awareness is unique to me, so when I die my self awareness will never 'be' again...I will become oblivion amidst the actions and expiriences of others, whom I will never know...

Just some thoughts, nothing more.  Are there any more thoughts?

The brain.  It is a fun

The brain.

It is a fun exercise to consider the existance of the world and the vastness of our universe. Considering our "uniqueness" is entertaining and the far reaching implications of our effect on the world around us, particularly our effect on other unique folks (everyone is unique?).

I think it's healthy to think about this stuff; gets the juices flowing for more relevant topics.

Me too. Have you ever tried to see from a mentally challenged's perspective? Or a genious' perspective? Or from the opposite sex's prespective? What about another animal?

Not existing will be similar to sleeping last night.

People who think there is something they refer to as god don't ask enough questions.

Sometimes I think

Sometimes I think self-awareness is only a hallucination.  We aren't really...well alive.  At least not the way we think we are.

So when someone refers to themselves and say, "Me", I sometimes think that might not actually be an accurate term.

Anybody got any weed?  lol

Weed ? I do, some fun

Weed ? I do, some fun for my little brain.

All earth is a mere speck of nearly invisible atomic dust. Yet we are part of the whole whammy. Da da ...

Heres a taste of the coolest "ancient" timeless wisdom I've heard,

Wisdom of the Buddha, 3 min, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTsb-woP3jI

As an atheist I think todays progressive buddhists as very helpful to the mission of freeing humanity from that devil god/myth of abraham.

Fear is our biggest enemy. Always invite the buddhists,
