The Rational Response Squad is a group of atheist activists who impact society by changing the way we view god belief. This site is a haven for those who are pushing back against the norm, and a place for believers of gods to have their beliefs exposed as false should they want to try their hand at confronting us. To quote Luke 19:27, which is often referred to by atheists and critic's: ”But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me."
However, to extend the quote to Luke 11:27 - The Parable of the Ten Minas
Clearly this is a parable. How does this then affect the religious critic’s use of verse 27?
Jesus pretty much always spoke in parable. So do we regard his parables as literal (as many Christian do), or just as parables? Or do we cherry pick depending on the parable?
