An article--"Why I can't be an atheist"
I don't know what website he's been recieving emails from, but it seems like this guy has the common misunderstandings in place. Perhaps someone could try to contact him and respond?
I would, but the little bit of free time I have today is not sufficient to reply adequately to his article.

I'll fight for a person's right to speak so long as that person will, in return, fight to allow me to challenge their opinions and ridicule them as the content of their ideas merit.

Where did you find this? I just wonder if its even worth sending him anything if there is already an overwhelming flood gate of responses. This is the most common argument I see, the argument based out of absolute morality. I find it puzzling that someone might think that we cannot abstract anything that is right and wrong in our world. I feel that sells humanity short in so many ways. Moreover I don't see how one can look at the bible and feel that its moral dogma is not only relevant to our times but 'good' at all.
Not to mention that even in the bible morals are a thing that is soley contingent upon God. My knowledge of the varying philosophical systems of ethics is not so extensive. I do acknowledge his point on relativism, maybe this is due to my lack of knowledge on the subject.
I find things like this every day via Google news. I have certain search words in my news page that bring me fun and entertaining journalism.
This one just stuck out as particularly annoying, and I thought I'd share.
