While I'd love to reply, my aversion to myspace prevents me so. I would suggest you reiterate the points you made earlier about the nature of proofs. A swift teaching of the flying spaghetti monster should be enough to reinforce the concepts of positive and negative statements, burden of proof, and argumenting out of ignorance.
