That was a good read. A couple points reminded me of a study I did myself on marijuana trafficing based on Canadian laws awhile ago, and how it was not going to lead anywhere. I'm going to go dig that up now.

Clever little piece. For a moment it seemed like you were digressing, but in the end you let it all click.

You want to claim there's such a thing as "the supernatural"? Fine. I hereby declare you to be "paracorrect" in doing so.

Wow, thanks for all the positive feedback.  It's nice to know something you took time making doesn't suck.  I was thinking about cleaning it up, adding a few paragraphs and submitting it for the content contest.

Yeah, and look at what "good" religion has done: The Crusades, Witch burnings, 9/11 , The anti-choice movement, discrimination against homosexuals and women, the war on science...

... the war on drugs, the war on profanity, the war on atheism, the war on any other religion, the war on abortion, the war on smoking, most racism (religion promotes the superiority complex), the war on halloween (which isn't satanic or anything like that at all), the war on alcohol (protestants pushed through prohibition in the USA, and Scandinavia), the war on prostitution, the war on safe sex, the war on sex out of wedlock, the war on pornography, and then actual war...

war in Bosnia-Herzegovina between Catholics, Muslims, and Serbian Orthodox

war in Rwanda between the Hutu and the Tutsi, Christians and indigenous peoples

war in Northern Ireland between Catholics and Protestants

war in Cyrpus between Christians and Muslims

war in Kashmir between Hindus and Muslims

war in Tibet between Chinese Communists and Buddhists

Do we really have to go on?

Nice work ImmaculateDeception

Consider this account closed. It's disgraceful this site has no function to delete an account. I cannot be part of an organization that seeks only to replace the religion of the god of the bible with the religion of "poor me" bleeding heart liberalism. Rational my ass! Not believing in a god is one thing. A rational view of the rest of the world is something else, which isn't found here.
