a theory about christianity

i dont know if it's been discussed here, but im just wondering, has anybody seen the history channel special "ufo's in the bible"?

it explains that if aliens exist, they might be the gods we worship today. some incredible scientific advancement that they might have made could be perceived as like magic back then. to make this more simple to say, they say it is like how if you brought a flamethrower to the ancient greeks they will think you are like a god.

Well, people started

Well, people started worshipping gods and made up these others things because back then they didn't know much about science. So the concept of a creator became popular, and it still is.

I don't think the Bible really talks about aliens though. And I wouldn't trust the history channel on this. They made a show in which they "proved" that Noah's flood really happened by saying that the Bible didn't say that it was a GLOBAL flood, but that it was a local flood.
