Conservapedia - Wikipedia for the Christian
I don't know if anyone else has heard about this, but you should check out their Creationism page. http://www.conservapedia.com/Main_Page
Sorry if this was already posted before.

Oh, for the flying spaghetti monster's sake!
I wonder if Wikipedia could sue them for copyright infringement.

I thought it was going to be a parody site of wikipedia, just like uncyclopedia.
Their articles are short, even the one they have on Jesus Christ. I didn't check out their Creationism article yet, though.
Atheist Books
Hmm. I didn't even look to see if who was running this site. Could this possibly be a sister site to Wikipedia? I only checked out the site quickly but have been informed by a friend they don't have anything on Spinal Tap. Now THAT is a sin.

It was a short while ago on a Dutch news site, Conservapedia is serious and it is preposterous.
Take their entry on Kangeroos for example:

A response to Conervapedia:

A wiki entry on 'Conservapedia':

It's so ridiculous it looks like a parody. It couldn't be a sister site to Wikipedia, or they wouldn't accuse wikipedia of liberal bias. They actually have a rule that only American spellings are allowed and people can't use "BCE" and "CE" with dates as opposed to "BC" and "AD." Stupid.

I almost fell off my chair laughing when the Eric Snider guy pointed out the misspelling of 'Atheist' in the Conservapedia. Perhaps they should get their heads out of their bibles and open up a grammar and spelling book...

They weren't going TOO badly ... until they started talking about the origin of Kangaroos. Almost soiled my pants laughing and there's only a minute until I have to head outside to catch a bus to work.
Organised religion is the ultimate form of blasphemy.
Censored and blacked out for internet access in ANZ!

I didn't even look at that before! LOL!!! It's unknown whether the kangaroos migrated to Australia overland or floated on rafts made from torn up vegetation. They are really fucking stupid if they seriously believe that. A parody couldn't do better.

This one is on Michael Moore:

This one is Ann Coulter

This one is interesting too. It's a debate topic on Creationism.

Well, at least they admit they're biased.

They don't even have a page titled "Reason", no wonder.
I also found a link that led me to this:

I just wanted to point out most of the content on Wikipedia has a very liberal license. You can copy (and use it on your site) as long as you give credit.
Also the software that runs Wikipedia is freely available (I believe is released under the GPL). Anyone can download it and set it up on their own servers to start their own wiki.
So, in short, the people behind Wikipedia could only sue if the Conservapedia people were claiming it was their own work. Even then, they might not sue because you can't get blood from a turnip and all that.
Check out Evolution on there. So completely biased. They use the idea that there was a consensus among scientists about the use of leaches in the 1800's as to why the consensus on evolution is likely false.

Looks pretty normal, I just find it odd that 2/3 of the external links are to the AiG website... Hovind got next to nothing on his page, at least it is up to date.
Oh, and they have no vagina page, infact one can not be created... same for penis... and sex, nothing at all for testicle, vulva, you get the point.
