Universal health care is "unbiblical socialism"
Here's another prime example of how the evangelical community and the radical right wing of the GOP play, "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours!"

I'm not trying to spark a debate on universal health care... I just find it humorous that this guy is trying to put a biblical spin on opposing it.
A note to all of the moderate Republicans on this site... I have nothing against Republicans in general... just the radical nutjobs that have usurped control of the party.

Most of the arguments the author makes against universal health care have nothing to do with what the bible says, although he's full of BS on that one. He quotes some guy named Sven that lists arguments that pertain to less physician choice, poorer quality health care and bureaucracy.
He's trying to make it a religious argument for the right wing christians so they'll vote republican. He only sites one passage from the bible and that's from Apostal Paul! "For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat." (II Thessalonians 3:10)
So, I guess the underlying message is that every working person should be able to afford health care. Which just goes to show this guys' head is up his ass. And if you're poor, tough titty!
Hmmmm....What would Jesus say about it? I think he said things like giving all you have to the poor and camals having a better chance of getting into Heaven than a rich man.
Paul also said this:
20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35
I guess they fogot about that one!
It's just a way of delivering an anti-universial care initiative to the religious right voters.

Maybe that's because they're busy reading the parts that say to love their neighbor as themselves; you know, that commandment given by their "savior" who didn't HAVE a job and therefore didn't seem all that concerned about economics.
I don't know how else to say it...the author of that article is a douche bag.
Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but religion is dying because the church can't brainwash the poor with presents of money any more? And there's a problem? Where exactly?
