I just have to say... I love you guys

I only wish I had even known there were a group that didn't believe the same things I didn't believe sooner. I've been listening to the radio shows I just have to say, I love you guys. I have a lot more reading to do (only wish I could do audio for all books, reading from paper is painful). I hope that one day I could defend my non-believe in such elegance and conviction.

Sounds made up...

A lot of us feel the same

A lot of us feel the same way when we first come here, a little overwhelmed. Reading became more fun for me when I quite believing but I am not sure why, though I think it has something to do with more enthralling topic matter.

Ugh!!   I feel EXACTLY the same way!!  (BGH wishes he had a nickle for everytime he has heard me say this very thing!)  Thank you, Magus, for saying loud and clear what most of feel!  It feels good to step outside of my box and know there are people that feel the same way I do.

I feel the same way! I really, really need to buy some of those shows. Is there a way outside of PayPal I can get them?

I was scared of PayPal before I bought the membership. That's been since show #23. No problems except for one scam e-mail that I caught and sent to them.

Now, just because I've had good dealings with them doesn't mean that yours will be too, but I thought that I'd pass along my anecdotal evidence since we get so much of it from the theists. lol.

Atheist Books, purchases on Amazon support the Rational Response Squad server, which houses Celebrity Atheists.

My main problem is that it requires internet banking...which is a scary thought. I would rather use credit card, since there's less they can take there.

I don't think it required

I don't think it required internet banking.  You can sign up with your credit card as you pay method.

I've felt the same way.  It can be very lonely to be the only atheist in a sea of theists.  I don't mind being the non-conformist/rational thinker I just don't want be the only non-conformist.

I signed up for the Silver Membership at only $10/month and it only asked for my Visa card with an option to get a Paypal account. I think it's a small price to pay to help the cause. You get access to the shows via email. I wish I had more time to actually listen to them all.

Magus- Use the video section

Magus- Use the video section first.  You can pick up a WHOLE lot of stuff faster by watching then reading.  It will also help to motivate you for the reading that will come ahead.  If you have any questions feel free to contact me and I'll do what I can for ya. =)

I feel the same way. I seems weird we are among so many deluded people day after day.

Welcome aboard Kylie. If you get a chance you could introduce yourself in General Conversation, Introductions, and Humor.

Have fun
