New Atheist Book
Has anyone picked up "God is not Great" by Christopher Hitchens? I hear he doesnt hold back when it comes to attacking religious figures such as Mother Teresa and Ghandi. Any thoughts?

I pre-ordered my copy, and was disappointed when it didn't come on Friday, but I'm expecting it to arrive on Monday. I think its going to be a great book, I watched Mr. Hitchens interviews on The Daily Show and CNN and he seems like a very intelligent man. It definitely should be good a read. Another thing I've heard about the book is that he discusses Eastern Religions, instead of just focusing on Islam and Christianity.
Yeah I ordered it and should receive it Monday or the latest Tuesday which is fine as I have yet to get to David Mills Atheist Universe yet so yeah ;p

Looks like an interesting book, but i was disappointed when he came on the Daily Show. I got all excited, then he kinda shuffled across stage like he was drunk/stoned, and the way he talked and presented himself lead me to believe he was. Not very good PR for atheists i'm afriad. But on the whole, looks like a good book.
I strongly disagree with you MedievalGuy, did you watch his interview on CNN? I interpreted his interview on the Daily Show has Mr. Hitchens being unwilling to play along with the jokes Jon Stewart always makes. Hitchens just wanted to get his message out there. I think he is going to do an excellent job for Atheism.
