Questions
I know these topics must have been discussed before, but I would love to hear some general opinion on these questions.
What is the difference between a Deist and a Theist?
How would you respond to someone who claims Atheists to be Militant, or Fanatics?
How would you respond to someone who claims Atheists are delusional?
Does anyone know who said something along the lines of “Religious extremists are considered extremists when they fly planes into buildings, all Atheists have to do to be considered extremists is open their mouths.”?
Thanks guys,
Garrett.

Deist = someone who believes in a non-personal god whos only criteria is the ability to create the universe.
Theist = someone who believes in a personal god who intervenes in worldly/human affairs.
"If atheism is militant or fanatical, I can't wait to hear you describe religion."
"Go read your bible."
Nope.

delusional is defined as "An erroneous perception of reality". religion, in my opinion, is the enemy of reality, with it's invisible man in the sky, talking snakes, people created from dust, etc.
so, a theist telling an atheist that they are delusional, is like chris farley telling kate moss that she's fat.

or like Paris Hilton telling Stephen Hawking he's an idiot.
...sorry, I had to add on to that post.
