Arg!
I hope it's okay that i post this here...We had 'Professor' Tom Woodward come to our school last Tuesday. He was invited to give us all a speach about Intelligent Design, how it was a scientific theory, how Richard Dawkins and all scientists were fabricating evidence to support evolution, blah blah blah. After going through all the most commonly used ID arguments, the writing in the sand, irreducible complexity, he handed us the above advertisment. The most i felt obliged to do was very scathingly glare at him and politely refuse the DVD he also tried to hand us. But i was outraged! I suppose it's not so bad that he was presenting it to the seniors, but to present it to the younger levels and primary students too! The most annoying thing is that 50% of my teachers agreed with him.I almost feel like entering a completely contradictory essay, somehow i don't think i'd win though.
EDIT:
Found the DVD on youtube.

Hang in there, kiddo. Theists will try to shove their beliefs down your throat all of your life. Look at the lecture as a lesson in how to avoid being brainwashed rather than on intelligent design.
I would argue that you should not fight this if you have no way to escape the situation. Be true to yourself, but do not welcome hardship for hardship's sake. Good luck!

They allowed that crap in SCHOOL? Once again, I'm horrified, but not terribly surprised.
By the way, welcome to the forums, Ingenuine! When you get a minute, we'd love it if you'd hop over to the General Conversation, Introductions and Humor forum and introduce yourself.

You should have taken the DVD and posted the contents here
I would have taken it and then handed him a scientology dvd, fair trade as far as I'm concerned.
You should go for it and win. Don't make it up just use their info to make their case, thats what they want anyway. After you get your shit simply pull the rug out from under them and go public with it all. The rules say the judge's decision is final so they can't take it back when you then point out where you used false information and explain the faults you knowing implanted to make it look good.
Can someone get Michael Behe a science book already???
How long has it been now since we discoved how the flagelum was formed? 10 years? So my question is... Is Behe crazy, ignorant or lying?
My vote is lying.
