I'd be shocked if Ray Comfort had ever converted a true non-believer in his entire life. All this man does is make Christians feel guilty for living their lives like normal people. He's such a smug scoundrel.
I can't relate to this shit at all.
Right from the begining, Ray Comfort confuses "Blasphemey" with "Curse Word". Blashepmy is to speak of god(s) with irreverence. Curse is to call upon the divine or supernatural power to send harm upon someone, e.g. "curse - may god damn you and your children, blasphemey - I deny the Holy Spirit".
Using god's name in vain is to ask for something foolish, idle or worthless, e.g. - "God please send me the power to destroy you."

Eh, his word choice is beside the point. He's just attacking Xians built in guilt mechanisms... no matter what words he confuses with which.
I don't think he's clueless, I think he's malicious in his intent to subjugate mankind to servant drones but is thankfully too stupid to be any good at it.

While I agree that Ray Comfort exploits Christian guilt mechanism, the point I was trying to make is that using profanity is not breaking one of the ten commandments, i.e. - Thou shalt not take thy lord's name in vain.

Ray Comfort did get his point across but I don't think he's gaining much by pissing off Christians by attacking their guilt AND looking stupid to the smarter ones who know the difference between blasphemy and using g*ds name in vain.
However, most of the people he interviewed appeared too airheaded to really know the difference or for that matter much less care. They admitted even though the movies had material that SHOULD be offensive to them, they still would watch it. Ray Comfort didn't get anywhere in this interview.
Using God's name in vain is blasphemy.

I didn't understand his question either? I would go to a movie where they used my mothers name as a swear word. First off why is that even bad? Isn't it just saying like "Sandy White!"? Why did people say they wouldn't go to movie where their mothers name is being used as a swear word? Second it's just a name...people are so weird.
Blasphemy is basically saying bad stuff about Jesus. But what if I said something like, "Jesus abuses farm animals." Is that blasphemy?
The reason I ask is because in the Bible it says that Jesus casted demons into pigs and the pigs ran into a river and drowned. I mean, how is that any different than what Michael Vick is accused of doing? Michael Vick drowned dogs. Jesus drowned pigs.
When Jesus comes back I think he shouldn't be allowed near farm animals.

Hmm well that was just idiotic. A curse word isn't the same thing as blasphemy. Some of the comments on there we're about at the same intelligence level too.
